19th April 2018. I am doing some housekeeping and transferring the book mark project from "Trying to make small gift".   New project book mark "heart shape". Mixture of leather material Different stitch type for book mark A very simple book mark project, cutting a 2 cm strip of leather and fold to required length. The folded part is stitch together to hold the two leaf which act as a book mark Intentionally leave the original leather edge shape as part of design. As each design are unique in shape and pattern. it depend on how you view this design for book mark. Of course you can choose to cut whatever shape that suit you. Design and pattern depending on each individual preference to suit their taste for bookmark design. Very simple design and easy to make and very practical for use. Do be aware on handling sharp tool to cut part. It is recommended to sharpen your tool before you begin as this action. 18th April 2018 .                    Today start a fresh with new blog page to make it easier to navigate. I'am still learning how to use this blogspot and update new project idea, tips and learn from our mistake to improve. The old way I use to append my blog spot make not so easy to know if there is new project being updated. Sorry for making my blogspot not so user friendlier easy to read and discover new items. Update 24th April 2018. Various design , shape and different leather material, thread type and color are used.All these project use to conceal the button head between two leather. Have to be careful not to button to close to edge as it will make stitching a bit more challenging. This was done in preparation for as gift to close friends.
