Tote Bag #1

Just share tips on how to make a tote bag from leather.

It is real challenge as this is first attempt of this big project and the idea come a
bout was because need tote bag for carrying big and bulky item to office.
1. Challenge is what stitch method and type of stitch thread to use.
2. All a single sheet EVA Foam as the inside base to help define the base area.
3. Try to use a single sheet leather as left and right side and bottom.
4. Both end is a sheet of leather attached using simple stitching method but require certain skill and knowledge to ensure minimum gap.
5. Recommended thread is waxed polyester thread to ensure good strength and ease to work with.

New idea Coin Purse

Coin Purse project.. This started off as a project suggested by a friend.. So let start off with the design, cut out pattern for a very simple but practical for small and medium size coin purse. Coin Purse

18th April 2018 .                    Today start a fresh with new blog page to make it easier to navigate. I'am still learning how to use this blogspot and update new project idea, tips and learn from our mistake to improve. The old way I use to append my blog spot make not so easy to know if there is new project being updated. Sorry for making my blogspot not so user friendlier easy to read and discover new items. Update 24th April 2018. Various design , shape and different leather material, thread type and color are used.All these project use to conceal the button head between two leather. Have to be careful not to button to close to edge as it will make stitching a bit more challenging. This was done in preparation for as gift to close friends.
